4th Class had a wonderful day trip to the W.B Yeats exhibition in the National Library. Our tour guide Maeve was so insightful. When talking about the Isle of Innisfree, she said that ‘Innis fraoch’ meant ‘heather island’. It is said that there is a beautiful purple glow around Innisfree from the heather. Cara K told
the group that her Granny grows heather in her garden. We thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition!
