For Science Week, Ms. Cunneen’s 5th went to explore in Granada Park. We identified many trees and recorded our findings. A grey squirrel was spotted too! We used our key to identify the various minibeasts. It was a lovely outing enjoyed by all. Tomorrow we will make paper cup telephones as a nod to Alexander Graham Bell who we studied and we’ll also investigate the absorption of water by plants using celery! We have constructed Norman castles and much science was involved in the designing and building especially with the drawbridges.
