Ceremony of Light
Our 6th Class girls are looking forward to attending the Ceremony of Light tonight. This beautiful ceremony marks the penultimate step in their journey to Confirmation.
Ash Wednesday
Last Wednesday marked the first day of Lent. We are very grateful to Marie Whelan Flangan and Emer Carty for visiting our school and assisting in the distribution of ashes.
On this year’s Trócaire box, we learn about 12-year-old twins Patricia and Patrick, their Mum Malita and their family who are struggling with the devastating effects of climate change.
To tell you more about this year’s story and how you can help, Trócaire has put together a short video. Click here to see the video that has been created especially with the primary schools audience in mind.
A Visit from the Dioscean Advisors
Our 3rd and 4th Classes are looking forward to welcoming Sr Maureen, Diocesan Advisor to our school tomorrow, Thursday.
School Choir
Our School Choir will be performing at Córfheile na Scoileanna in the National Basketball Arrena on Tuesday 5th March. All our welcome to attend this celebration of Primary School choral and instrumental music.
Credit Union Quiz
Best of luck to our two teams heading to the Credit Union Quiz 2024 this Friday, February 23rd. Round 1 is taking place in Cherrywood Educate Together. We wish the girls all the best with the competition!

Hollypark abú!
Respect for Our Neighbours
Parents are reminded that for the health and safety of our girls, there is no vehicular access to the school for drop-off in the mornings.
As a Green School we actively encourage our girls to walk, cycle and scoot to school. As 80% of our pupils live within 2km of the school, this is very doable for many.
Unfortunately, but quite justifiably, our neighbours frequently complain of inconsiderate parking on the roads close to our school.
Please use the Church car park if it’s on your route to school: parking at the Church is free to all families at drop off and collection times.
