Principals Newsletter October 23rd 2019

Well done to our Gaelic Team who brought us to the finals in Croke Park.

In a close match against excellent opponents Belgrove SNS, Clontarf we were very narrowly beaten by a single point.

To make it to Croke Park makes you a champion and I am hugely proud of our girls’ success in reaching this pinnacle and of their resilience and grace in defeat.

Well done to all our girls who are still doing so well in the

WOW Homework Pass Challenge

we are working hard at printing off all those Homework Passes – it looks like we will be needing hundreds very shortly.

Parents/guardians will have received a letter recently from the Board of Management notifying them of the forthcoming meeting at which parents/guardians may be nominated for election to the new Board – term of office 2019-2023.

We are looking forward to our PA’s

Spooktacular Cake Sale, Raffle and Hallowe’en Dress-up Day.

This is always a fun day at school and a great finish to the first half-term’s work.

School will finish at the normal time on Friday 25th October

and will re-open after mid-term on Monday 4th November.

Girls please take especial care over this festive season –

days are shorter, nights are longer –

and ensure that you are
