To finish off what has been a very busy musical term, our School Choir will sing at the

Parish Christmas Concert in aid of Merchants Quay Ireland on Sunday 15th December a 7:30pm.

Tickets are on sale at the school office - €15 each - to support this worthy cause.

The School Choir has recorded a Christmas CD which is available for sale through the office - €5 each.

Our Infants are taking to the stage on Thursday 12th December – a highlight of our school calendar – and we are looking forward to welcoming parents to:

‘Ralph the Reindeer’ performed by our Junior Infants &

‘A Miracle in Town’ performed by Senior Infants.

The Christmas Plays will be kindly recorded by Cormac Barry and will be available to buy before Christmas - €5 – a lovely stocking-filler for Grandma or Grandad!

We are looking forward to an exciting visitor! Santa is coming to Hollypark on Tuesday 17th December and he will be selecting the winning tickets for our Christmas Raffle.

Thank you once again to our hard-working PA for organising this fun event.

Thank you to all the parents/guardians who supported our recent HeadCheck initiative.

457 children out of 568 had consent to have their heads checked. 111 did not have consent to get their heads checked – this represents 20% of the school population. Of the 457 who had their head checked 57 were found to be infected to some degree. This represents 12% of those checked. Just like a vaccination programme the greater the number who support this initiative the lower the incidence of infection.

Don’t forget our weekly Headcheck Wednesday!
