Welcome back to a new school year.

I hope that one and all got a well-deserved break from the routine of

school and got to enjoy the sunny spells with occasional showers!

It’s going to be another busy year and I will shortly send out a calendar of expected school events so that you can start to fill in your diaries.

A very warm welcome to our new Junior Infants who officially join the Hollypark family on Thursday 29th August.

It seems to be in the very distant future but the next eight years will fly by –

just as it did for our 6th Class girls who graduated in June.

Many of those girls have already started in their new secondary schools and

we wish them the very best in this next exciting stage in their lives.

They were super young ladies who took their job as school leaders very seriously.

They will be a hard act to follow but our new 6th Class girls are excited to step in to their shoes (and hoodies!) and will do an excellent job.

I want to extend a warm welcome also to girls who are joining us in older classes.

You will find that while lots of things are different, lots of things are also the same as your old school and in no time we hope that you will settle in.

We are looking forward to another great year in Hollypark GNS and as always will strive, with your support, to provide the best possible learning environment for our girls so that each of them will have the opportunity to achieve their potential.
