What’s happening in our green school over the next few months………
Our Green School News for December The green school committee are very busy at the moment preparing for our green school flag Renewal. We are looking forward to the visit of Kate Hynes, assistant Environmental Awareness officer with Dun Laoghaire- Rathdown County Council/ An taisce on the 16th of December. We have reviewed our Green School Policies and have lots of exciting Green Plans for the coming months. Our Green School News for January
We are asking all the students to bring in their used
Christmas Cards and we plan to recycle them. A really nice
idea is to make little boxes using these cards. The green
team will forward the template to all classes in January. Our Green School News for February We plan to further develop our ‘No junk Mail’ Awareness campaign. Watch this Space
We are hoping to have the ‘Hollypark case Study’ on line by the end of March. This is an online account of how we worked to achieve our goals to reduse, reuse & Recycle over the last few years.
We will be busy ‘Spring Cleaning’
St.Patricks GNS Hollypark are delighted to announce that our Green flag has been renewed. This wonderful achievement came about through the hard work of the Green Schools committee and the co-operation of the whole school. We are very proud to be a Green school.
